   Another local notable, Tom Lagana recently highlighted his guitar prowess on his debut release Patuxent, a generous helping of jazz compositions that embody a wide range of influences, from nature to the city, from Boston’s Italian section to Africa. Lagana’s versatile playing displays fluid fingering up and down the fret-board, bobbing between subtlety and fervor, engaging the listener by setting life’s musings to organic compositions.
